Chemistry delves into atomic structure, models, chemical equations and reactions, periodicity, solutions, nomenclature, stoichiometry, and more. These topics are covered using a variety of learning methods, such as laboratories, group activities, demonstrations, and projects. Students will have the opportunity to explore everyday chemistry from household cleaners to sunscreen as well as career choices that involve chemistry from nursing to engineering. No one is left out. This class also serves as a college preparatory class.
