Physical Science is divided into two components, introductory chemistry and physics for 9th grade students. The basics for chemistry include how to read and use the periodic table to nuclear chemistry. The introduction to physics have basic formulas and how physics is applied to daily activities. Laboratories, experimentations, and investigations are conducted often in groups and as demonstrations. Topics involved in chemistry are atomic, ionic, and molecular structures, periodicity, chemical equations, and application chemistry. Topics in physics are Newton’s laws, force, motion, matter, light, lenses, and simple machines.
