At Champion Christian School, we are first a school of academics. Fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and the Association of Christian Schools, International (ACSI). We meet and regularly surpass every standard as set by the California State Board of Education. We teach to exceed the benchmark of the standardized tests required of all students. When state academic standards come into direct opposition to our Christian values, we respectfully teach from the Christian perspective.
Mr. Rick Stout serves as Chief Educational Officer (since 2005). Mr. Stout, with a resume that includes serving as principal at large, public schools, like Paradise High School, brings over 20 years experience and has established a style of leadership that keeps us focused on raising the academic experience of each student.
We use technology in the classroom to enhance curriculum. Whether it is one of our computer design classes or simply up-to-date maps projected on a screen in a history class, we continually seek new ways to incorporate better teaching methods though technology.
Furthermore, we link the classroom with the student’s home by placing class assignments, grade book and teacher contact information online for both the parents and the students to access. Updated grades are posted weekly, including the individual grades of each assignment.
